Harley-Davidson FXWG Wide Glide Shovelhead

 Description:  Harley-Davidson FXWG Wide Glide Shovelhead.   Picked this up from an Estate.   Bike had been sitting for some time. but has recently been revived.   Has custom blue flames over silver paint on tanks (there are a couple minor flaws in paint). tanks have 1955 Panhead badges.    Fenders were painted to match the tanks silver base coat.   Original seat was reupholstered. but not in exact stock form.   80" motor runs real good. original heads appear to have machined for dual plugs. but currently just set up for single plugs.   The original electronic ignition was replaced with points (points and condenser were installed).   Previous owner apparently had some work to done to motor. but I have no details on what was done. just going by what I've seen and how it performs.   Has an S&S Super B carburetor. which works and idles very well.   Frame. motor. and 4 speed transmission are original and matching numbers.   Primary chain oiler has been bypassed and properly vented.   Bike has newer back tire and tube. front tire has some miles left. but should be replaced in the near future.   New rear brake pads and rotor installed.   Front brakes are good. pads still have some miles left on them. so didn't replace them. but throwing in a new set of pads anyway.   Has new front brake line/hose.   The speedometer pegged the first time I took it out for test ride. odometer and tripometer work fine.   A buddy of mine repairs/restores speedometers. so if my Reserve is met. I will make arrangements to have it repaired at no cost to winning bidder.   All lights and horn work properly.   Unfortunately. there is no ignition key because the family I bought it from couldn't find one.   Bikes runs and handles well and goes thru the gears.   Comes with clean Arizona Title in my name.   Bike is being sold "AS IS". no warranties expressed or implied.

Payment:  A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of auction end.   Remaining balance is due within 7 days of auction end in the form of cash in hand or Bank Cashiers Check.   Bike will not leave until all monies have been received and cleared.

Shipping:  All shipping costs and arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer.   I will assist shipper with loading bike.   If desired. I can transport bike to a local shipping company of your choice within the Phoenix metro area for an additional $65 to cover my time and fuel.
