1972 Suzuki TS125 Duster
This is a 1972 Suzuki TS 125 Duster enduro in original condition and is hard to find. The bike is all original with the exception of the new seat cover. You hardly ever see these 125 Duster’s come up for sale on Ebay. The Suzuki TS series is a family of two stroke dual sport motorcycles produced by Suzuki Motors from 1969 until the present day. The TS125’s were made from 1970 until 2007 and they are still making and selling the TS185 model but only in a few countries.
The TS 125cc two-stroke single cylinder enduro bike was introduced for the Japanese home market in December 1970. It had 13 horsepower five speeds and high-drawn exhaust pipe. Built like an enduro racer it has a 9.3" ground clearance with long travel front forks and 5-way adjustable rear shocks. It has a CCI automatic lube oil lubrication system and spark arrester.
This is the first week of Summer so now is the time to get a vintage motorcycle that gets over 70 miles to the gallon. You may have had one of these bikes when growing up and want to own one again and fully restore it. I have restored my first 1969 Lil Indian mini bike my 1970 Honda CT 70 mini trail and my first “actual” motorcycle – a 1971 Kawasaki 125 that I raced in 1971 after removing the lights and applying a paper plate for my front number plate. It is such great satisfaction to have restored and own my first three “motorcycles”.
This Duster still has the original Yokahama tire on the front which tells you that it has not been ridden very much. It has a 2.75 x 19 Yokahama Trail Sport in the front and a 3.25 x 18 Bridgestone on the rear. There is small evidence of cracking on both of the tires but they still hold air and can be ridden on but they should be replaced if you intend ride on these tires for awhile.
The bike starts right up all gears work and you can see a short You Tube video of the bike being started and ridden:

The gas tank is clean and oil lube functions. The rims are also original and are in very good condition with no dents and no rust. As stated earlier the seat cover has been replaced with a brand new pleated seat cover and new foam underneath. It even has an original K&W Enterprises front fork brace from the seventies. These fork braces are also very hard to find.
It has what appears to be the original chain and sprockets. The engine was disassembled and inspected and is very clean and still on its original bore. The headlight works but the rear brake light is not original to the bike but works. It has a brand new battery to power all electrical components. It also has the original ribbed Suzuki embossed handgrips.
Please do not ask me what the reserve price because I will not tell you and it is not fair to other potential buyers.
The motorcycle will be sold as-is with no warranties implied and it comes with a valid California title that is in my name and has not been signed and/or dated. Some people will say they have the title but it is already signed and dated and California DMV will charge you late fees from the date that it is on the title because you only have 30 days to transfer vehicles into your name in California after purchase. It does not have a license plate because it in on non operational status but all you need is the title and bill of sale – no need to take bike to DMV for verification. I already did that for you. I do not sell any vehicle without a title and you shouldn’t buy a vehicle without a title.
Please check my Ebay history – it is at 100% satisfaction for a reason and ninety five percent of my Ebay sales are related to mini bikes motorcycles or motorcycle parts. I have been riding racing restoring and collecting motorcycles for over 45 years.
I also have several transport contacts and can get this Suzuki transported almost anywhere in the United States for much less that most motorcycle transporters and USHIP. I also have transported motorcycles to Australia and Europe and I have no issues selling to anyone out of the country. I know of several international transporters and I will charge only $100 to get the bike to the transporter/logistics and fifty cents a mile both ways – you pay the transporter to get it over the ocean but I will assist with the logistics and finding a shipper.
I have disclosed everything that I know about this bike and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or if you would like other pictures. You are welcome and encouraged to start ride and see this bike in person before the auction ends I am in Southern California – just email me.
Please check out my other Ebay listings – a 1969 Yamaha 125 AT1 a 1968 JC Penney Pinto mini bike and an exceptionally restored Hodaka 100 cc Motocross bike as well as a several vintage motorcycle and mini bike parts that are priced well below EBay “book” value.
