Hodaka 1977 03 125 Wombat Enduro AHRMA vintage duel sport antique two stroke

Up for NO reserve auction is a 1977 Hodaka 125 Wombat. This bike came from a defunct dealer auction down in York Pa. Believe it to have been a trade years ago and it just sat. Last time on road says 1980. Must have sat a long time. Build date on bike is 9/76. Bought 8 bikes and this was one of them. No title! Had to list something so I put salvage. There is no salvage title. Can provide notarized bill of sale. High bidder gets this bike!
Here is what I have done to bike:
*Flushed fuel tank and installed fresh fuel. (tank is clean inside, ee picture)
*Cleaned carb in Ultra sonic tank
*Changed trans oil
*Checked all lights and install new battery
* Got running and test rode.
Bike runs good. Injector works as it should. Trans shifts as it should also. Speedo works. I believe this to be original miles. All lights are good (that is why I put in a new battery) but needs L/H switch assy to work. Has no internals. Or could be hooked up directly. I did not want to blow out the headlight so I did not. Rear shocks are still good. Has original ignition key. Needs an air filter. It was rotten.
I put about 5 miles on this bike @ Mid Ohio vintage days this year as a pit bike. Ran fine and got loots of looks. Clutch is a little grabby when first engaging, hen fine.
This would be a great bike for a winter restoration project or just ride it like it is. Everything is still available for these from Hodaka specialty dealers. Any questions feel free to ask.
