1975 Hodaka Dirt Squit Amazing original condition

I acquired this bike last fall from the original owners son. The son was moving out of state and not interested in moving the bike. He stated the bike had been stored since 1985 by his Dad who was a mechanic. The bike was a filthy mess and covered with a sticky crud. Whatever his Dad put on the bike accounts for its amazing preservation. I scrubbed the bike and was very pleased to see the chrome and paint are inamazing shape for a 40 year old bike. The inside of the tank looks like the day it was built. I put a new clutch and brake cable on, eplaced the points, ork seals, ust boots, nd changed the oil. The bike starts and runs perfect. Oil injection is still in place and operates as it should. The only issue that remains is that the clutch will not disengage until you ride the bike for several minutes. I have ridden the bike for about a total of 20 minutes and after the clutch frees itself, t works perfectly. It may fix itself with a little more riding time, am sure it is caused from the length of time it was in storage. There is small knee dinger in the RH side of the tank that is illustrated in the photos. You would be hard pressed to find a better original example.

I am listing the bike with a buy it now and will be taking it to a swap meet in Humboldt IA on the 18th. I will be happy to transport to Humboldt free of charge.
