1973 Hodaka Combat Wombat 125. Matching Frame and Motor. D-17370My previous listing of this bike was terminated by Ebay for placing it in the wrong category. I apologize to any bidders and those interested. here we go again. I purchased the Combat Wombat along with around 7 other Hodaka motorcycles. have restored several other models. this was the best of the lot. The Bike is very straight. mostly complete. a beautiful candidate for restoration if you so choose.  The flaws are a chip in the shifter case where the chain was slung due to a mismatched sprocket set (see photos) repairable. and a good ding in the upper area of the tank. The bike had a UNI bolt on foam filter at the carburetor bypassing the great. massive canned ham. air box which I removed. You will need a rubber boot from carb. to air box. and a foam filter. along with a sprocket set and chain. all available from Paul at Strictly Hodaka. There are scratches in the fenders. and the tires will need to be replaced. The motor is in great shape. very good compression. a motorcycle with very low hours. The bike has always been stored indoors. the condition reflects this: Good seat. good suspension. straight. 8 out of 10 tank. straight and original handle bars. beautiful cross-over pipe. great Combat Wombat air box. original aluminum raised shoulder front and rear rims. all stock parts are there and in very good shape. The Combat Wombat in my opinion. is most unique in the Hodaka line. This is a beautiful. nimble. classic 70's dirt bike. perfect candidate for restoration.
