1997 VFR 800

 

Taken in part exchange by us over the winter. runs and rides very sweetly. with slick positive changes on the gearbox. revs freely without hesitation. and runs well without overheating. exactly what you'd expect from any VFR800

I've ridden this a few miles today and i'd say the chassis is in pretty good shape too. rides straight. brakes as it should. shock absorber is fine and the forks are leak free. sat on quite recent decent quality tyres. fitted with a full stainless steel exhaust system and a Deklavic end can. the paint work is all clean and original. discs all round are OE and excellent. it's had a fresh battery with recent tyres and pads all round.

Bad points. the grab rails and seat hump are missing. the valve clearances sound like they want doing. nothing to worry about ignore it and ride it if you want. these motors are bullet proof. at 52. 00 the miles are high-ish. there is no service history or warranty and is sold on a trade sale/sold as seen basis. but you'll note is priced accordingly.

Priced to clear at ?895. there is no "best offer" or "what's the least you'll take?" it's cheap as it is!
