Honda GL500 Silverwing

 Honda Silverwing GL500

I bought the bike in August 2013 with the idea that I would use it at weekends plodding around the south coast. But I Haven't. hence the reason for selling it. I have done less than 60 miles in that time.

If you want a 150mph racer and wheelies in every gear. then this bike is NOT for you.

This bike is a Plodder. probably capable of 100mph but likes to cruise at 60-70mph. Handles well and comfortable.

These engines were used in the CX500 and dispatch riders loved them because they were so reliable.

Now becoming quite a Rare Classic.

Selling as spares or repair as there is no MOT and is SORN. Bike is too good to scrap. Could use it for a donor bike for a Trike 

It hasn't been started for a few months (dead Battery) but I will charge the battery and I am sure it will start and ride. Front tyre has a puncture. The cover came off in the winds and there is surface rust but will clean up with a good polish.

Pillion seat with Sissy Bar. Just remove the Top Box and clip in the seat.
