1986 HONDA XL600R RED

Honda XL600R - Big single cylinder thumper. M. O. T'd untill July 22nd 2015. This bike has recently had a full service back in November and had a replacement generator which has allowed it to start a lot easier. It comes with two knobbly tyres which i took off of it when i bought it. The road tyres on the bike have only covered 400 miles. I've also got two spare wheels in silver. The rims are in fair condition but the spokes are a little rusty. As far as i know the previous owner had tried to restore the bike. stripped the engine and replaced the seat and handlebars. I have also bought new wing mirrors and replaced cracked plastic panels and had the twin carbs cleaned. The bike is thirty years old and not show room standard. The tank needs a little TLC but once the cosmetics are done it will be a fantastic bike. They really are bullet proof engines with plenty of torque.
