Honda VF 700 C Magna VF 750 Custom Spares Repair Project shaft trike Sabre V45

Honda VF700C Magna     This 1985 VF700C Magna was an American model. imported in '97 with 5 owners since then. it uses Honda's V4 750 motor with smaller pistons to get round American tax laws at the time with the 700 and 750 being pretty much interchangeable. It's nice to see a proper 'Chopper' style bike again rather than all these low down feet forward cruisers they keep making nowadays. ;)                                                   This bike is being sold as a project due to the owner's failing health who has to give up riding. it currently does not run but it was running about 18 months ago but has been stood in the shed since. It's had new fork seals. brake service kit and replacement carbs which apparently still need fettling. the fuel pump also seems to have packed up. I hooked a battery up to it and all the electrics still work (lights. hooter etc. but the flasher unit doesn't like the pattern indicators) and it spins over and has all fluids. oil. water etc. The bike has recent Avon tyres and pads aswell. It's missing the right hand side panel and the tank has a ding and faded paint and a chip on tip of tail piece. I have since discovered the back-rest pad and alloy thermostat cover. A good quality bike that still has good chrome. alloy and paint that would clean up rather nicely. it will need a little work to get back on the road or is a useful haul of valuable spares. even for V45/Sabre model (apparently the shaft drive makes them a good bike to build a trike with) it comes with the V5 logbook and the key.                          Leave a contact number before bidding if you have less than 10 feedback!
