This 34/Thirty four year old 1981 Honda CB650C Custom has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 4483 miles have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the R/h mirror. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat & front master cylinder isn't working. r/h upper exhaust is holed underneathe. Sadly the fuel tank is in non standard paint & dented. Front mudguard. head light & clock bases are pitted. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as solid as it looks here. The reverse comstarwheels are straight. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Indicators are tidy. Instruments & switches look great. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

We will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
