SORRY ***NOW SOLD*** 1999 Honda Fireblade CBR900 RRW, Black/Silver

1999 Honda Fireblade CBR900 RRW in black and silver with 16. 00 genuine miles. HPI clear. I am the 3rd owner. I have owned this bike for over 6 years. The log book is in my name and it is registered at my address. Mot until 20 August 2015. I have had no problems with this bike in all the years I have owned it.   This bike is mechanically sound. the engine and gearbox are without fault and are smooth as silk. I have 2 keys. which are original and operate both the ignition and the seat lock (not mis-matched). It has a datatool alarm which operates without any problems. with 2 fobs. All the panels are original. even the underseat/number-plate panel is intact and not chopped. It has an Art end can fitted plus I have the original can for MOT time. Carbs cleaned and uprated. The wheels were powder coated last summer. 2014. New chain and sprockets summer 2014. New front and rear wheel bearings and sprocket bearings summer 2014. Front brake calipers refurbished summer 2014. Front stainless brake lines fitted. The front tyre has plenty of tread. the rear tyre is approx half worn. Original indicators. Toolkit in place under rear seat.   The not so good: the bike was subject to a very low speed (low side) off about 4 years ago. approx 5mph in the wet on adverse camber (yes. a bit embarrassing!) so it has minor scrapes to the right side fairing and small scrape to right side upper fairing. but no cracks. The right brake lever was a little bent so was replaced but the tank was not affected so remains undamaged. Also. this bike has regularly been used in the wet so many of the fixings and brackets are not pristine. although I have replaced a few with 2nd hand parts off ebay. Finally. on attempting to remove the belly-pan last summer. I broke off one of the sump pan lugs. Subsequently. that fixing is held in place securely with a cable tie. It cannot be seen but I am happy to be totally honest. The chrome-look decals are starting to peel a bit which seems to be a common problem with this model.   All in all. this is a lot of bike for the money. with such low mileage. it rides like it has just been run in. Cash on collection please. The location is Sidcup. Kent/south east London. approx 10 minutes from the M25/A20 junction. very easy access. No test rides unless you leave the full asking price in cash and proof of insurance. I have a machine which checks for fake notes. I am not interested in part exchange of any kind. When I bought the bike. the owner insisted that it was a UK bike (not parallel import) and the logbook states 'declared new at first registration' which would seem to confirm that. After getting the bike home. I noticed the dealer on the number plate states 'Bike-world' which I suspected as being an importer. It's possible they did both. Anyway. it is totally UK spec and full power - I had it dyno'd showing 128 bhp and still have the print-out. I still don't know whether it is official UK or not but being UK spec and full power is enough for me.
