Honda CB1 400cc Custom Paint Job, Winter Project

Here we have a unfunished project bike that was origanally designed for my wife to ride. since becoming preganant this just didnt get finished.

This is a cb1. I have removed all parts from this bike as bought it as a complete non starter and vandalised bike. the frame was custom painted metallic purple. and the new tank front mud guard and rear fairing were sprayed with a pearlesent white. which really shows up in the light.

The engine was taken from a running MOT'd bike and fitted to this frame. the V5 for the engine is with this bike. The original bike therefore needs to be registered with the new engine once complete.

Exhaust was also taken from running bike. which is a micron exhaust system which sounded lovely. all be it does have a nice little dent in it.

Seat has a smal nick in it. but i do have 2 seats to choose from. the other has no nicks but was witting on in white marker. Didnt try scrubbing it off.

Engine. has been transplanted and started on this bike. but it was well over a year. It doesnt have a battery as started it from my bike battery. after starting it realised that the clutch arm on the bike was not fitted correctly so needs engine dropping. or side case off to do this. This was about where the bike restoration stopped as the wife got pregnant and there was obviously no hope of her doing her licence with a baby bump.

I do have a massive selection of parts from the doner bike. enough to get this bike running without buying any more. and the bike stand I did most of the work on. I havent added any pics of all the bike parts but I can let any one interested know what selection I have.
