Honda XL 125 RC Classic 1980's trail bike with V5

Honda XL 125 RC Classic 1980's Trail Bike First Registered new in 1984  I've owned this for around 5 years and just used it off road - although it is road registered and I do have the V5.  Speedo reads 19. 78 milesIt starts easily and rides OK with all gears working fine - however the engine does smoke quite a bit.  It may be valve stem oil seals as the compression seems good or it may be rings / bore wearIt seems pretty original with standard clocks. indicators. chainguard mudguards. fairing. rack etc.  Taillamp has cracked lens.  It has had a new chain and both sprockets very recently <50 miles useThe seat looks original and is not ripped.  The tank is original and has not been painted but has a couple of dents and quite a few scrapes and age related blemishesParts of the frame look to have been hand painted as has the swinging armTyres are OK and the wheels rims are chrome but with bits of rust coming through as per last 2 photosElectrics mostly work ( 2 indicators have obvious broken wires so dont work) It could probably do with a new batteryWhen I saw an XL185 show bike earlier this year (see last photo) I thought about restoring the XL125 - but I just dont have the time at the moment unfortunately Overall I would describe the bike as in fair condition for its age (30 years old).  It would make a good candidate for restorationHappy to answer any questions on 07876-790000 or send photosViewing welcomeBuyer to pay £50 via Paypal at auction end with the rest payable as cash on collection
