This very nice & remarkably original 1981 Honda CB650C Custom has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the mirrors. The bike has obviously had a minor tumble on the r/h side breaking the front brake lever. scuffing the indicators. silencer & fins on the cylinder head and somehow the rear wheel rim is dented. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels have clean chrome rims. good brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank & side panels solid & tank is squeaky clean inside with just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean – When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel it starts runs & revs. Well it is a Honda!If you require any further information please give us a call or better still visit our showroom and have a good look over the bike for yourself – after all who are you going to believe me or your own eyes?

The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

WE HAVE GOT THE ORIGINAL AMERICAN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE

We will provide proof that VAT & Duty are paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT’d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
