2003 Honda XR70

Purchased as a Christmas present for my son in December 2013. this 2003 Honda XR70 is the perfect bike for any beginning trail rider. It is super reliable. has plenty of controllable power. has clutch-less 3-gear shifting. and is small enough to fit in the back of my Ford Explorer. It is a "one-kick starter" (it is a Honda. you know) and it runs like new. I purchased this bike to introduce my son to dirt bike riding. However. the majority of his riding has been very easy. mostly around and around our house and tons of laps at the soccer field at our local elementary school. with very limited off-road trail riding. Sadly. my now 14 year old son has quickly out-grown his first bike and is ready to graduate to his first "clutch-shifter" bike. Purchase price is a firm $600. 00. cash only. This is the price I paid for it in December '13. although immediately after purchasing I invested another $300 to replace the carburetor. true both rims and replace both inner tubes as well as replace both the chain and front and rear sprockets.
