1979 Honda CBX   1047 CCView all photos. did complete tune up with carburetor rebuild. valve adjust with proper shims. ew plugs. new rear tire. new brake job with new seals. pads. etc. . new air filter. new battery (at time of work)(recently charged and holding charge well). nbsp; engine cleaned extensively and painted black. frame cleaned. everything adjusted and performed great. Last Photos are of bike when I picked it up in Nashville and then at my garage showing the seat. wiring. etc. Will take a few more later and add them to the listing.   Thanks for looking and Good Luck Bidding.   This will make an excellent bike. will need some TLC to bring it back to condition it left my shop in April or May of 2011.   Sold to Friend whom rode it to Nashville and about five miles from home he dropped it once on right side to avoid a tractor trailer turning in front of him breaking the right blinker off and scratching the end valve cover plates.   Then again on the left side doing the same to the left side of bike. scratches to valve cover plates and breaking the front blinker off. This was much to my dismay. as you can imagine after you see the amount of work that went into the bike and the extras that I went to as he is a friend of mine.   It still hurt to see the bike HURT.   He ask if I would pick it up at his home in Nashville and has decided now to sell it as is. It sat at his sisters in her shed in Nashville for about a year and a half and has been back sitting in my garage about the same waiting for him to make the decision on whether he wanted to fix and keep it or sell it. I would say that a new chain would be in the works. Just check everything out as good as possible before you attempt to start riding it. I have not touched it except to move it inside my garage. I did recently change the oil. Castrol GTX 20/50. (there was no water in the oil system. just checking). starter will not turn the engine at present. have not tried to roll it on driveway yet as my knee is very weak and I do not want to drop it.   Mileage since I did the work. a little over 200 to maybe 250 miles.   Down once on right side and Down once on left side………. Bike is sold As Is Where Is………. I am listing it for my friend and his mother…………….
