For sale - an extremely rare 1967 Honda C115. I bought the machine a year ago from an importer who had brought it in from the US. it was in very sound original order although the engine cylinder head was missing. My motive for buying was that I had a brand new 12hp pit bike engine left over from a previous project - which has slotted straight in giving modern performance with electric start and and auto box!Since importing the machine I have uk registered it. with mot and (free) tax so its ready to go. There are a few points to mention - the auto could do with the gearing lowered as its a bit buzzy over 30mph. and the indicators/lights arent connected but could easily be sorted with the 12v engine output. Ive spent over 1500 pounds so far in buying the machine and fitting new engine/wheel rims/spokes/tyres so this represents quite a bargain for someone. if you have more time than me to rebuild the original spec you will have a very rare valuable bike. ive only ever seen one other C115 for sale -at £5000!The original engine (minus head) is included as well as bars and pillion seat - this is also the even more rare split seat version.
