HONDA VFR 1200 F-D WHITE (2011 - Nov - 61 plate)

For sale My Honda VFR 1200 FD in Pearl sunbeam white.   MOT to Nov 2015. Full service history from Honda Main Dealer.

This bike is a fully automatic 6 speed with DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission).   It shifts quicker than you could yourself.   It has a semi automatic mode where you do clutchless shifts using a couple of buttons on the bars. (You won't use this much. I didn't).   With 170 bhp this bike shifts. the automatic transmission just makes it much easier and relaxing to drive.   The optional extra Akrapovic Silencer makes a lovely sound from the V4 engine.

The bike comes with a full set of hard luggage from Honda.   The side cases have very discreet mounting points so very little shows when removed. I also have the genuine Honda luggage liners which are very neat (weren't cheap) and the retaining straps (again. not cheap. but very useful).   The side cases and all inners have never even been used.   Other extras are the adjustable touring screen. a Honda u-lock (under the seat) and a wiring harness for wiring in stuff like GPS or heated clothing etc. )  I will also include my SW-Motech Bags-connection powered tank bag and the tank ring mount.

There are a couple of scratches on the bike. one on the right fairing and another on the top-box. I have put detailed pictures of these.   The tyres will also need replacing within another couple of hundred miles. I am not doing this prior to sale as people have their own preference for rubber but do bear this in I mind when bidding. new boots are going to cost you ?200-250 fitted depending on what you buy (It has Metzeler Z8 Interact fitted which I found to be good)

I am selling the bike as I have changed it for another so it must go.   I have put a low reserve on it as I can't afford to give it away but this could be a genuine bargain for someone.

The bike will only be released on receipt of cash or cleared funds to my bank account.   If you want to test ride that would need to be discussed. but I can assure there are no issues with this bike and rides just the same as any other you can pick up from a dealer.

Need to add some information. At the last service in November the bike had new pads all round and the front callipers were stripped cleaned and had new seal kits fitted so that won't need doing for a while.

More important. the bike is owned by my limited company so VAT will be included in the final sale price and a VAT invoice issued. If you are VAT registered you can claim this back. nice little bonus.   e. g. bike sells for ?5400 that would be ?4500 + ?900 VAT so a nice little bit to claim back there.   I will not be adding it to the price. it will be inclusive of VAT.
