HONDA CBR400RR YELLOW/BLUE - 5,941 Miles

HONDA CBR400RR NC29 GULLARM - 07843 591 785A rare one. just 9562 KM which is under 6000 miles.  This baby blade has had 5 owners in total since it was imported in June 1998.  The last two owners have been ladies (Debbie since May 2005 & Julie from May 2002 to May 2005). I picked the bike up from Debbie in July 2014. she parked the bike up in 2007/2008 and covered it up. To get it back on the road and running right I have done the following:Remove the faulty alarm. New Honda (YUASA) batteryNew Brake Pads all roundNew Oil + Filter. No air filter because the current one looked like new. New Gold DID Chain + SprocketsStripped and cleaned the brake calipersCleaned the CarbsPassed the MOT with no advisories - 05/09/15 ExpiryThe bike pulls like a train - feels like new. The paintjob is 10+ years old but is top quality because it still looks excellent. The bike has R&G crash bungs fitted. it has a single seat cowl and I don't see any rear pegs. The tyres have plenty of tread on them. There is a tinted screen on the bike which looks good. I have ridden the new CBR500R and this NC29 is faster. lower. more rewarding to ride and cheaper to buy. The only thing that remains to be done is replace the fork seals and fork oil.  On test ride one of the seals started weeping so I will replace both for the new owner before they collect the bike if it goes for the full asking price. I have been asked if it can be restricted to be A2 compliant. YES you can restrict it down to 33BHP because you are not restricting it more than 50% from full power.  No-one makes a 46BHP A2 restriction kit for such an old bike so 33BHP is the only legal way to do with certification.  If you want this done then I can supply and fit for ?250 including all the paperwork.  If you want to see the bike it is in the Honda Showroom where I work.
