Honda H100 SG

Honda H100 SG 1987 in very good standard condition with low mileage (see photos). Bought by me last year as a runabout cum project. Currently MOT'd until October 2015. with no advisories. Since I bought it I have done the following work:Engine rebuild which included: Crank bearings and seal set. New standard size piston. rings. gudgeon pin. small end bearing. rewound stator coils and pick up (West Country Windings). full Vesrah gasket kit. gear lever and final drive output seals. Also replaced: Battery. HT coil. chain and sprocket kit. new tyres and tubes. headlamp bowl. air filter. spark plug. NRP carb overhaul kit. While the bike was apart I also lubricated the clutch and throttle cables. silicone greased all electrical connections. Whilst the chrome mudguards are in good condition I took the precaution of cleaning them thoroughly underneath and sealed them with Hammerite. Wheel bearings. spindles and drum brakes have been stripped. inspected and lubricated where appropriate. There is some corrosion on the original exhaust system but it is solid and usable. As you can see from the photos this does not detract from the overall look of the bike. Wheel rims are slightly pitted but clean and I have greased them up to protect them from winter. I have also sprayed underseal on the lower parts of the frame and back of the swinging arm for protection - these areas are in good condition underneath. The bike comes fitted with a period Rickman rack. I'm in the middle of doing up a Rickman fibre glass top box which will come with the bike. Overall. a really nice little classic Honda stroker ideal for nipping about on or taking your test. Reason for sale is the purchase of a new bike. ?950 ovno.
