1998 Honda VTR 1000 FirestormJust 18200 miles from New - thats less than 1500 miles per yearIn really good condition. you certainly wouldn't believe this bike is 16 years old. Full Lings Honda Service History including the all important valve service (receipt to prove) and serviced last month ready for the season ahead. During the time that I have owned this amazing bike. it has wanted for nothing. The previous owner (like me) had kept the bike is outstanding condition to which I hope you agree I have carried on. I have added a double bubble screen and changed the lighting behind the clocks to LED units to improve visibility at night. I have also added high level Remus Grand Prix pipes which I think look fantastic and also sound amazing. While louder than standard pipes. they have a permanent baffle in so are fully road legal (although not don't pass many noise tests at circuits - last test was 105. 8 db at 5500rpm)This has got to be one of the most fun filled machines I have ever ridden thanks to the masses of torque produced and addictive sound track. while its braking and handling abilities are sublime. I have always run the bike on Shell V-Power or if not available. have added octane booster to help it burn cleaner and smoother. Whilst they are not known for their tank range. I regularly see over 110 miles before the reserve light comes on giving around 130 to a tank (not bad for 16l). I will be sad to see it go but family must come first and so its up for sale. I have both keys. owners manual. service book and some receipts as well. Bike is located in Harleston. Norfolk - collection is preferred but I may be able to sort out delivery if you let me know a postcode. Obviously with new laws there will be no Tax with the bike. and while the MOT only runs till Sept. it has done less than 10 miles since and will pass its next with flying colours.
