Honda VFR 800 A5 VTEC ABS 2006 (LOW MILEAGE UNDER 4k) NO RESERVE !!!!!

Hi There and welcome to this auction for my much loved (but not ridden enough!!) VFR 800. It is an 06 plate (private plate recently removed so back to original) with approx. 3800 miles on the clock (may go up slightly before end but probably not!!).

I have owned the bike for the last 6 years with 1 previous owner from new (approx. 2yrs) but have hardly ridden it in the last 2 years due to a recurring back problem which is why I am reluctantly selling it now and also to fund a house purchase.

The only extras fitted are genuine Honda Tank pad and top yoke cover (Carbon fibre) and also a Carbon rear hugger and chain guard (1 piece). It also has a dark tint screen fitted (way better than clear) and I have the original screen which is a bit scratched from storage and the original chain guard which are included in the sale should the buyer want them. There is a Datatool charger plug fitted (can be seen in pic) and I will include the trickle charger in sale as I don't think I will be needing it myself anytime soon !!

The bike has been very well looked after and cleaned regularly even when not ridden with the tyres good for a fair while yet and as you can see in the pictures I have all the old Mot's and tax discs along with various receipts and a stamped service book and all owners manuals etc. I also have the V5 log book and 2 keys.

The bike has a few small marks on it including a couple on the rear wheel due to an over zealous mechanic changing the rear valve for the last mot. As you can see in the pics the worst mark is on the right top fairing edge which I have touched up and to this day I still do not know how it happened but I suspect it was the young boy who lives nearby (who has learning difficulties I may add) riding down the drive and scraping his handlebar along it (right height?) as he would always pretend to "rev" his bike up next to mine if I was cleaning it or getting ready to go out. I did consider getting the top fairing painted but it would look like the bike had been dropped if the paint didn't match properly so I decided against it but nevertheless it is still there and I am making you aware of it.

I could go on and on trying to describe everything about the bike but these listings are not endless so really anyone looking at these superb sports tourers knows what they are about and to get one with under 4000 miles in (pretty much) excellent condition with tax and mot ready to ride away is a good find I'm sure most of you will agree !!!

The bike is located at my Mums near Longfield in Kent (DA3) not far from Dartford and viewings are welcomed and encouraged to avoid misunderstandings etc etc !! Viewings would have to be after 5pm because of work commitments but I will try to accommodate prospective buyers the best I can and also no test rides without a big (fat) bag of cash in  my hand first ;-)

ppps. I have also found a couple of other bits which were never fitted and I will include them in the sale which are a Carbon fibre front fender extender and also 2 silver blanking plates should you choose to remove the pillion handles (a more racy look) and finally a Haynes manual.
