1978 Honda CB750 K - 4,669 miles, original. Runs great!

This is a 99% original. unrestored motorcycle. It sat in a garage in Friend. Nebraska (the town was actually called "Friend") untouched since 1983 (That's the last year the plate was registered anyway) and it runs beautifully. The chrome is super clean. as you can see in the photos. Unlike the vast majority of California bikes which have been ravaged by saltwater air. It started to drizzle just as these photos were being taken. so the specs on the chrome are just little rain droplets. The only non-original part is the handlebar. but we do have the original set if you prefer them. Thought it looked better with the slightly lower rise on these bars. Did very basic tune up work to get it running again including:cleaned / rebuilt the carburetorsNew air filterBrand new throttle and clutch cablesNew clutch lever and cable adjusterReplaced the points and condensersReset the ignition timing and valve clearancesReplaced rear brakes (originals had disintegrated)New oil and new NGK spark plugs Brand new batteryLubed the chainIt runs extremely well. just as you would expect from such a low mile bike. The tires are the original Bridgestone Super Speeds from 1978. Side covers both have cracks as per usual. but are complete so could be fiber glassed together. The pipes being original are rusted out in the back and the baffles were removed by the original owner. Has a really nice. throaty sound to it. Any questions. feel free to ask.
