1976 Honda Super Sport CB550F Excellent Original Condition Shiny Orange Runner !

This original paint. 1976 Honda CB550F. Super Sport. was in storage for around 10 years. The chrome is in great condition. The color is the original Shiny Orange. The "super sport" side cover decals look good. There may be a few tiny rust spots somewhere on the bike. but I didn't see any. The bike has not been detailed. or a lot of time spent to make it look new. It was washedand wiped off. No wax. no chrome polish. You get to see exactly how nice it still is. without cosmetic doll up. The gas was not drained before it was stored. The gas inside the tank turned into mung. So when we brought it out. the first thing I did was send the tank to Elizabeth PA radiator. They do an excellent job of cleaning and sealing old fuel tanks. This one was a challenge. ut it turned out great. The carbs have been cleaned and some new parts installed. The bike got tuned up. a new battery. and runs fine. All work done at the Honda dealer. As far as I can tell. The only thing on this nice 550. that is not original. is the seat. The iconic 4 into 1 exhaust system looks and sounds great also. The details; In-line 4 cylinder. four stroke. SOHC. 2 valves per cylinder. Four 22mm Keihen carbs. Electric and kick start. aprox 50hp. Front disc brake (270mm). Rear drum. Tires. 19 front & 18 rear. This bike is offered as a pick up only. However. AFTER. the bike is paid for. I can crate and load it onto a carrier. that YOU make arrangements with. I assume no responsibility for shipping. but will be glad to assist.
