DESCRIPTION & VIDEOThis sport touring legend that is the 1981 Honda CBX1000 Prolink has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is complete. quite standard & very clean - indeed so much so we decided not to wash it off ?ˆ“ Still got American bugs on the front of the fairing!. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with good discs. calipers & working master cylinders. Forks & yokes are straight with good chrome. Instruments & switches look great. Paintwork is all very presentable with the obligatory scuffs on the panniers - tank is squeaky clean inside. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. Shocker is damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel it starts & runs champion. See the video attached.
