1987 Honda CR250

1987 Honda CR250. One of the best 250's Honda ever made. Great horsepower and handling characteristics. combined with stunning looks. It is the epitome of the Johnson/Bailey era when Honda dominated the sport of motocross and supercross. This bike was purchased from a a former Honda factory employee that was involved in many facets of development and testing. He said the bike has a special HRC transmission. Although I did not dismantle to verify. he was truthful about everything else with regards to the bike. so I have no reason to doubt it. It has sat in his garage for decades so the water pump and magnesium cover needed to be repaired. Only OEM Honda parts were used. New fuel. oil and coolant were added and the air filter was replaced. New Dunlop tires were installed as were new tubes. Chain. Renthal bars. grips and seat cover were also replaced. Needs nothing but a pilot. Let me know if you have any questions. Rick
