1980 Honda CB650z Motorcycle Spares or Repair

Up for auction is my old 1980 Honda CB650z motorcycle. This bike is being sold as a total non-runner for spares or repairs as do not want any negative comeback due to anyone having too high expectations.  I have owned the machine quite a few years but now I have nowhere to store it so it has to go to a new home!!Basic details:I had the engine running a few years ago & there was rattling sound (perhaps a loose chain tensioner or something more sinister?). The bike was quite difficult to start so I bought another set of carbs off ebay for ?50 but never go round to fitting them. Included in the sale the manuals and a few extra spare bits & pieces). I was told that the frame was powdercoated by the previous owner some years ago and he fitted some new parts fitted including new front brake pistons (stainless). stainless nuts & bolts. new speed & tacho (originals available). new chrome mudguard. new drive chain etcThe brake fluid in the front brake is low so it will need topping up & bleeding for it to work. Unfortunately bike seems to look far better in the photos than it really is so remember it is not in tip top conditionThe paintwork on the tank is OK but clearly not perfect & the are 2 sets of keys for the ignition. Hopefully I have painted a very negative picture of what to expect so the buyer will not be disappointed as the bike would make a great base for a restoration project.  Alternately. it could be simply broken down and sold for individual parts. Unfortunately. I can only find the old 'Blue' logbook for this bike but I will keep on looking for the new 'Red' version. If anyone who has already bid is uncomfortable with this I will be happy to allow them to retract their bid. On the plus side. whilst looking for the logbook. I have come across an original Honda CB650 Service Information Manual folder. a Clymers CB650 manual plus an old Haynes manual. These manuals will be included with the bike for auction.
