1997 HONDA CBR 1100 XX GREY

Hi and welcome to the auction of my 1997 CBR1100XX Superblackbird carb full power model. It is in great condition although it does have the odd mark here and there the worst being a small dent on the top of the tank caused by the previous owner dropping a suitcase on it in his garage. this has never really bothered me and with the tank cover you cant see it anyway. It has full stainless steel downpipes and is a 4 into two (no heavy collector box like the original) it is currently fitted with micron ss link pipes and cans(not loud just grunty) the original silencers will also come with the bike.  some pics show it with the headlight cover on this is easily removable but looks cool(its a one off) not to good at night tho. it has a rear hugger. givi monokey rack and topbox. custom touring seat(original will also come with the bike. Its also fitted with lower pegs this combined with the seat makes it v comfortable to ride. of course original pegs will also come with the bike. I also have a bar riser kit but have never fitted it. some history. service book all the old mots spare keys spare hiss key fob(Honda security system) owners handbook. low mileage for the year. The pic off my wife standing by the bike was this year when we set of to the Isle of man TT. all the way from Plymouth to Lancaster around the TT for two weeks and back again. super comfortable ultra reliable went like a dream. the pic of me sat on the bike was just after I completed a lap of the TT a lifetimes dream (the wife was on the back I don't think she felt the same haha) That was the reason I bought the bike to go to the TT. I would love to keep it but I have a more adventure type bike that is better fro my daily commute shame. So there you have it a superbike in all respects. low reserve regrettable sale but head over heart for once. would be interested in a cheap trail bike for the depths of winter normal ebay rules of course. Sorry forgot to mention tyres are still good plenty of tread also got a new chain and sprocket kit to go with the bike.

Everyone always comments on how clean the bike is and cant believe its a 1997. I guess this is down to Honda building a good bike.
