1966 Honda S65 Sport- Low Mile Original Beauty

This is a 1966 Honda S65. It only has a bit over 3400 miles on it. It was in long term storage for many many years when I got it and had not run for who knows how long. The fellow had quite a few neat old bikes. On the floor. n the rafters. hanging from the ceiling and so on. This one was up on a shelf high up on his shop wall. I drained the tank and put some fresh gas in. Checked the oil and kicked it. Enough that it sputtered a bit and then died. It will need fresh fluids. lug. tuneup etc to run down the road again. But not much else. This is a very very clean original bike with excellent chrome and original paint all around. I think even the seat cover is original. It has some damage on the top but after over 50 years. who wouldn't ? The tank is a beauty. The plastic around the horn is stress cracked on both sides of the opening. And the bottom of the air cleaner cover has a few melted spots from the exhaust right near it. But it looks like everything else is close to the shape it left the factory in. Whoever owned this bike all this time really took care of it. Really took care of it. The chrome is excellent. Including the exhaust system front to back. The paint still shines on this bike. It has the original 1966 Kansas license plate on it from day one. Along with the original Kansas title it came with. This is a great bike. With a great color. Doubt there are many out there still a nice as this one is. Local inspection and pickup here in Prescott. Arizona is encouraged. And I travel around the country with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it close to you. Though not so much this time of the year where the white stuff is flying.
