1967 HONDA CB450 K0 CP450 CB450P POLICE SPECIAL RARE

Up for auction is a very rare 1967 Honda CB450 K0 Police Motorcycle with 6. 07 original miles! 1 of 26 brought to the U. S in 1966!! This beauty was restored approx 25 years ago. The bike is in very good condition overall. There are some paint runs on the hardbags and rack. and a few few very minor paint chips (see pics) There are no dents on this bike. Factory cable driven siren. factory solo seat with red foam (fantastic condition). factory police switches. round speedometer and dual flashing lights with red glass lenses! The siren is activated by a lever below the clutch lever. When engaged. the lever drops a roller on the rear wheel which spins the cable to activate the siren. The speedometer needle can be frozen in place by flipping the switch on the left side. This would lock the needle at the speed the driver was traveling and the officer could then write a ticket with the speed indicated. very cool. The needle is released by hitting the button again. The speedometer needles were very thin to promote accuracy. but also very frail. This needle is only half the length it should be. I believe the missing piece is inside the speedo face. but i can't see it anywhere. The hardbags are vintage Buco bags with brass latches. The have some minor scrapes and scratches (see pics) but are fully functional and in good shape. The bike has all the factory crash bar to protect the bike. even when the bags are removed. The stock ignition switch is a 5 setting switch. (see pic) I have all 4 original factory keys! The paint is in good condition with a few chips as i mentioned before. This bike has been ridden at parades and shows etc. Most of the blemishes are from usual wear during rides and storage over the years. It is not perfect. please ZOOM IN and look. The chrome is also i very good shape. Again. some areas show minor rust pitting but overall very good for original condition. This bike runs great! Calling it a "head-turner" is an understatement! Such a blast to ride. Kick and electric start. Engine runs strong and is quiet! no cam rattle. no valve clatter. No oil leaks. Gas tank is clean inside and out. Side cover emblem missing on the right side. Left side is still there. It is different from my Black Bomber. I may remove it for now for safe keeping and see if I can find another or have some repops made. The bike has a clear title. I can help with shipping but REMEMBER.
