HONDA GOLDWING GL 1200 LIMITED EDITION.  VERY RARE MODEL. NOT MANY SEEN FOR SALE.  A chap said I would find the number of the bike under the petrol flap . there is what looks like a number 39 on the panel were the stickers are situated. so I assume this is the number of the production line.  VERY NICE LOOKING BIKE WITH FULL FAIRING. PANNIERS. TOP BOX ETC. 1985 IMPORT FROM OVERSEAS ( UK  REGISTERED IN 1991)FUEL INJECTED MODELNEW MOT DONE ON 23RD AUGUST 2014EXHAUST HAS BEEN WELDED AND REAR LIGHT FIXED TO PASS42363 MILES( ONLY DONE 60 MILES SINCE 2006)EXCELLENT TYRES & BRAKESHas cruise control.  cb radio and tape radio. I have not tried any of these so take it that if any do work then that is a bonus. air suspension has error code on display so not sure about that. nbsp;has connection cables for helmet intercoms. the chap I bought it from said they worked with the original helmets but he used a different system. so never bothered with them. VERY TIDY BODYWORK FOR YEAR. Average CHROME AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FOR AGE OF BIKE ENGINE SEEMS TO RUN FINE. has a bit of rattly noise at low revs . have been told this is fairly normal on these bikes that have been left standing for a while. an ebayer told me sounds likely to be the tensioner pulley. I am inclined to agree with him as it comes from that area. apparently is it a simple straight forward job to do. just takes a bit of time.  I have some fuel injector cleaner which I will run through the system. if I get the chance to go out on it .  I GUESS IT WOULD BE BEST TO GIVE IT A FULL CHECK OVER DUE TO NOT BEING USED FOR A LONG TIMEI dont think there is a service booklet but there is a note pad from the previous owner which notes jobs done when he had it. ALL LIGHTS WORK EXCEPT FRONT SPOTS.
