This auction is for my Honda CBR400 race bike.
Its with an extremely heavy heart that I have to sell it. I have raced it for three seasons. its about as easy and straight forward as any racing vehicle can be. It never lets you down and won't try to kill you either. Its like racing a pencil sharpener.
The full spec of the bike is:
Brakes: Front EBC pro-lite discs. Performance Friction pads. Goodridge hoses. Rear M/cyl has a tube reservoir. rear EBC pads
Suspension: Racetech fork springs. Ohlins rear spring on CBR600 adjustable shock. Modded dogbone/linkage etc. 17" wheels front and rear
Chassis: Rearsets. Upside down gears with dynojet quick shifter. lightened clocks bracket. lightweight wiring loom. lightened subframe. shark fin. race fuel cap. crash bungs. Renthal handlebar grips. Alfano lap timer. NC23 race bodywork. Front and rear 520 pitch sprockets to cover all circuits. recent chain.
Engine: EBC Kevlar clutch kit. HRC short velocity stacks. 112 jets. Lockwired engine plugs. Samco silicon coolant hoses. Ignitech programmable CDI. Race camshafts. Stainless race headers and carbon can. foam panel filter. shorter 6th gear. No charging system. I have a dyno graph showing 68bhp. These engines have the bottom end of a CBR600. so are relatively over engineered. with gear driven cams. so no worries about chain tensioner failure. Has had new head gasket. general bottom end and gearbox checkover fairly recently. Carbs are cleaned out and last years fuel drained out of tank.
Wheels/tyres: 3 sets of wheels. gold. white. black. Enough discs to go around. Good Dunlop wets on the white wheels. Used Pirelli supercorsa on the other two sets of wheels. and I will include some other scrubs lying around.
Spares: Bits to make it daytime MOT (Logbook. speedo. horn. number plate). radiator hoses. Honda unrestricted CDI unit. used front pads. clutch cable. nbsp;front master cylinder. spare levers. rear caliper. various gearbox and clutch parts.
Cash on Collection from Rushden. Northamptonshire. I could trailer it to somewhere a little closer to you if you are coming from a serious distance away.
