This bike is for spares or repair. The first V 4 Honda made was the VF750S sport in 1982 which makes this bike 33 years old. I have the V5 in my name and the bike is on SORN. This bike is NOT a quick fix and in my opinion requires a complete strip down and rebuild as was my intention initially. in the past I have restored classic cars and thought why not try a classic bike. however having bought the bike and given it more thought do I want to spend a considerable amount of money renovating a bike that will be too heavy for me to ride when finished. its a very heavy bike and as I am seventy!!). The tank requires a sender unit and a new key. the seat is good with no rips. when I bought this bike the guy said the clutch had gone. I though the friction plates wanted replacing. what he really meant was gone as in not there!!. the clutch in the picture is what needs to be acquired. The speedo needs an outer casing. I have a link where they can be bought. the seat cowl and the ignition switch needs replacing. these bits can all be bought on ebay quite cheaply. The front and rear brakes work well and the engine turns over freely with good compression. I have seen one of these made into a trike and looked great but I think it would be a shame to spoil one of the first V 4 Hondas made. I think it imperative the buyer sees this bike before bidding so I can point out the bits missing and those that are not connected up. The bike comes with the Official Honda Factory manual (quite rare ). Anyone buying without seeing buys the bike as is with no come back. any questions just get in touch either through ebay or give me a ring on 01522808066. or do you have a smaller bike you want to swap through ebay? Regards John.
Pick up only.

My intention was to strip it right down (which it needs). it also needs lot of new parts. I bought this bike for ?200 (after noticing it on passing) as a project which to me was a reasonable price. Please bear in mind that photos don't show all the work that needs doing and can I reiterate PLEASE come and see it before bidding I don't want you to be disappointed.
