Honda CBR 600 Track Race Bike F2 F3 1994

Description

Due to an injury to my leg (non bike related) that is going to take me out of all biking for at least 12 months I have made the very hard decision to sell my 2 race/track bikes.

This auction is for my 2nd/Wet bike and she is a beauty in all aspects. I bought this about 2 years ago as a street-fighter F2 and I think I did 50 miles on it in 12 mths. So. I set about making it in to a 2nd/spare/wet bike for track only

It is a 1994 F2 with V5 in my name.

I removed the F2 engine and installed a 1996 F3 engine along with F3 carbs which are dynojetted. Also fitted the ram air system which in turn meant I had to fit the F3 radiator. In addition I installed the F3 type fuel pump and filter.

The engine was running ok but I got black flagged at Mallory on 14th February as it was smoking heavily. Not had chance to look at the engine due to the injury that happened the very next day after Mallory :-(

I have a set of dry's on wheels that are open to negotiation but will not be sold separately and will go through EBay process.

No test rides for obvious reasons but I can assure anyone interested that this bike is a well set up bike and apart from the engine it works and goes as it should do.

With regard to the engine there are a couple of options available:

Option 1 - buy with smoking engine at reduced price and per this auction pricingOption 2 - sold with a known reliable engine block with a tuned cylinder head - this head has been skimmed. ported and gas flowed by JT Motorcycles - http://www. jtmc. co. uk/ - and has the cams reworked by Kent Cams. When this was fully built it was producing 105bhp and ran competitively by a known rider in the steelie biking fraternity. Jason at JT said he would rebuild the engine for me for 250. 00 which included new valve stem seals and lapping and shimming and rebuild. This option would see an additional price of 250. 00 to the buyer/winning bid

I have my other CBR600 for sale also and would be open to discuss purchasing both together for a fair price but again through EBay rules and regulations!
