Hi. nbsp;It was my winter project ( 20 year ago I was a flat track racer it is a reason why honda ft500). I bought this motorcycle in the summer. did a bit of traveling that summer and decided to prepare this motorcycle for the next season for travel to Alaska. I took the bike apart and sand and cleaned all rusty spots. then painted with special protective paint all metal surfaces. serviced and cleaned all wires and connections. and put new: all sprocket and gear seals. fork and suspension oil and dust seals. master brake cylinder. chain and sprocket pillows. seat. tires. and all light bulbs. Cleaned and serviced all fuel line and carb. valves etc. I didn't try to make the bike beautiful for show. I made it practical and ready for long trip and longtime use. But my plans changed and I am compelled to sell it now. I invested into the bike total of 3700$ + 12 weeks of work. and I do not want to let it go for a cheap price. like junk.
