honda cb900f cb900 dohc 1980

Here is a 1980  DOHC  cb900f on a 'w' plate. m. o. t till 31st July 2015. clean tidy but by no means mint. scuffs and scrapes on paint . The side panels have all the lugs in place but are not original to the bike they are a different red to the tank and tail fin . It has the later lattice style foot plates and tail fin has the grab rail fitted.  old micron exhaust sounds nice not loud also some dents and welding has been done to downpipes here and there. frame powder coated a while back but still looks good. recent battery fitted. indicators are Yamaha items but suit it and work well. seat has nicks in it . brakes not up to power of bike . Twin piston front single piston rear could be made into a really nice bike . no fin damage . Engine def not silent you can hear it run but at least this bike can be ridden home . U. K only . no overseas. cash on collection and you will need to sign the log book for me to return to dvla no exceptions. . iv had this since 2013 and log book is in my name. Don't forget no overseas uk only  cash upon collection and must be collected and paid for within a week of sale end . no buy it now . no early finish cash sales or offers . bid to buy.

Miles not quoted because I cant verify or even guess as clocks have been changed at least once . if service history and miles covered are important this is not the bike for you .

To answer a few questions . I don't have any service history at all . This bike was off road for some time. I did a dvla check and it only shows 2013 and 2014 tests and miles . the miles went down from 38k to 26k when I changed the clocks for a really nice set. I consider this an on going project/rolling resto its def not a pristine collectors bike . if you need an untouched example this is not for you . I need cash on collection . I am in Doncaster south Yorkshire. log book is here and in my name. . I an not interested in export or swaps or cash offers.
