PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PIC's & DESCRIPTION. This rare old 1974 HONDA XL350KO has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded. a few bits non standard & a few bits are very nice indeed. The wheels are straight with clean alloy rims. good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both ok. Tail light assy is good (pitting in the chrome) as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look good. Fuel tank & side panels are faded but tank has light rust inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhaust system is original and seems solid but needs repair to end pipe. Seat base looks in good condition. Chain guard is tidy. Shox are damping fine. Sadly the engine is seized. hopefully it will just be through standing around forever but we have not inspected or looked at any engine internals. The engine is cosmetically quite clean.

The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of title but we will provide proof VAT & Duty is paid on the new NOVA system. REGISTRATION1. You need to get the bike MOT’d. 2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. To get a dating letter - Phone Honda UK customer support on 01753 590510 who will advise you to request in writing with the bike details Model. Chassis & Engine numbers and enclose a cheque for ?30 to:- Honda UK Mc. 470. London Road. Slough. Berk’s. SL38QY3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number. 4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ?55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax. 5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
