Collectors Honda cd175 1975 garage find restoration project genuine 7,000 miles

Here for auction with no reserve we have my classic Honda cd175 which surfaced recently locally  while looking for a bike to ride for the summer. Unbelievably this has been stood for the last 34 years in a garage. nd survived the ordeal quite well i thought!Even more amazing was all it took to get it to run was fresh petrol and a battery and away she went!In all my years of being around m/cycles. his is the first time ive come accross a bike that has been stood for so long. nd not needed any work to get it to run. The motor sounded good. o smoke. nd no rattles. nd a genuine 7. 00 miles too. The honda is registered in my name. nd i have the original delivery service booklet. nd handbook. swell as 2 keys and 1 old mot. This is a 1 owner from new before my ownership. nd was purchased from new locally in tunbridge wells. y the first owner. nd laid up from use in 1981. Ive thought long and hard about restoring this myself. ut i was looking for a larger machine. nd so have decided to sell the old girl to someone who will appreciate it. nd hopefully restore it. It is in amazingly solid condition for being stood so long. nd the only things which have suffered are the exhausts. The left hand exhaust is still ok. nd is salvageable. ut the right hand exhaust has bad rust in it. o needs replacement really. The other thing which will be obvious is both side panels are missing. nd were broken somehow while being stored. All the cables. hrottle and brakes all are free. nd. ights work too. Restoration wise. his is an ideal bike i feel. s mudguards are good. s is petrol tank. rame is solid. nd engine is good. o fairly simple restoration. Id just like to say that there are currently nearly 1000 people watching the old honda. nd yet we seem to have a 10 pound bidding scenario going on! I started the auction low to encourage bidding!  Come on all. ets all move it along some.
