Honda CD175 - classic original and low mileage

This little Honda was bought by my late father-in-law on November 1st 1991 as a 65th birthday present to himself. It came with an MOT tested in March of that yearwith the mileage recorded as just 8464.  Unfortunately. within 4 weeks of buying the bike. his license was revoked due tofailing eyesight and so the Honda was consigned to the shed. Despite much polishingand regular starting in the hope that he would recover his license it didn't happen and henever did get to ride it on the road. Although I covered about 500 miles. After about 15 years he came to terms with the fact that he was never to drive/ride againand so passed it on to me. It has suffered the same fate - polishing and starting - apart from2011 when I did get an MOT. The speedo now reads 9175 which I think I'm confidant in sayingis genuine. The bike is a genuine original although I know that the exhaust down-pipes have been replaced- I have the originals for the buyer. There are no mirrors fitted but there are a pair to go with it - sadlynot the originals (they are stamped Kawasaki). The paintwork and chrome are good for a bike thatis almost 38 years old - there are some scratches and a little rust showing especially on the rear rim. Despite being unused for the last 3 years it starts. runs and everything works other than the front lightswhich look as if the bulbs have blown. It will need a new battery.  The helmet warning sticker is still on the tank as is the tyre pressure sticker on the rear mudguard.
