1998 HONDA BLACK/GREY

For Sale Honda CBR900RR Fireblade (1998) Genuine reluctant reason for sale. What can I say apart from I'm going to miss this one.          The bad points:   MOT runs out on the 21st April                     Needs new front tyre                 Needs new chain            Left front indicator is broken. still works and I do have some replacement LED indicators but haven't the time to fit them                Slight tapping noise when cold from the engine sounds like valve clearances but disappears when warm.         There are age related marks on the bike and fairings but over all but it's in a pretty good condition. The mileage history is abit weird this can be checked with VOSA as follows22/04/2014   1286029/07/2009   1272913/03/2008    5193016/05/2007   44348A HPI check that was carried out on the 25/02/2014 which I have and is all clear. (No insurance writ off)The good points: Starts first time every time                                                               Used through the winter with absolutely no problems.                                                             Engine pulls through all gears and is lovely to ride. The bike needs a MOT in April but haven't got the time or money to put one on it. All I can see is that it will need a front tyre and chain to get through one. It's priced low because of the work/bits it needs In my opinion it could do with a service but other than that its a brilliant bike. I've loved this bike and really going to regret selling it but have no choice at the moment. It will make an ideal winter hack/streetfighter project/first big bike and whoever owns it will love it.
