LOOK BID BUY!!!It's that time of year when a man needs something to tinker with in the garage. SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PIC's & DESCRIPTION. This stunningly clean & original 1980 Honda CM400T Custom cruiser has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 8513 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 35/Thirty five years ago!!!. As you can see it is complete and every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & very tidy. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Indicators are tidy. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank & side panels are solid & tank is squeaky clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the starter – sounds/feels great & has compression – When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel it starts & runs. Well it is a Honda! Sadly it looks as though the previous owner has over tightened the sump plug as it is cracked & leaking oil. If you require any further information please give us a call or better still visit our showroom and have a good look over the bike for yourself – after all who are you going to believe me or your own eyes?
