Honda VFR 800F - 2000 W Reg - Pre VTEC! Great Condition

For sale. my Honda VFR 800.  Bought this after selling my ZX6R. after having got a bit too old for the sports bikes. but still wanting to keep that sport side of biking without knackering my wrists!  If you're considering the same kind of plan. moving up from a pure sports to a sports tourer. then I cannot recommend this bike enough. I went for the pre-VTEC model as I'd heard from a number of friends that the VTEC iterations were a little on the twitchy side. tending to kick in when you're midway through a corner and squeezing the accelerator to ease out of a bend - which is not when you particularly want a turbo to decide to operate. The bike itself is in really good condition. Oil changed few hundred miles ago. and the bike's been garaged since around September before the weather turned. Paint and decals are really. really good - there's a couple of minor nicks in the paint here and there. but better than most bikes of this age.  The front brake is starting to bind a little so it's worth changing it at some point. and rear pads due a change in the near future.  Chain is also good for a few more thousand miles yet too.  I know tonnes of listings say this. but it's not been dropped once or had any near misses. Front and rear tyres are in great condition - easily a few thousand left. As far as the bike goes. I love it.  The only reason it's going is to help pay for some house updates. but I'll definitely be getting another some time in the future.  Honda's are bulletproof - I've owned 2 now and not once have I had any problems with it.  I've used this one mainly in the summer. and when the weather was good to commute to Oxford from time to time (no commuting time on the current tyres btw. so no squared off rears here!). Your posture on the bike is such that eating up the miles is easy. and you won't get tired - unlike my Kwak which  you'd had enough of after half an hour! Mileage is 35. 66. Original toolkit and manual is included. and if I can find it I'll also chuck in the  Haynes manual.  I'll also leave the datatool/optimate harness attached to the battery so if you have one you won't have to muck around getting the leads attached to the battery. Viewing is welcome.  Test rides are not workable unless you can prove the time you've been riding. and leave a deposit for the full asking price.  It's also at my discretion. so please don't been offended if I say no - it's nothing personal.  Been bitten once before a while back. and don't want to go through that again.
