American RV Camper Motorhome - Turbo Diesel - C Class Coachmen - VERY low miles!

 So. here for sale is my Coachmen Catalina Sport American C Class Motorhome 

She has done just 41. 00 miles. and has all previous MOTs from new to prove the mileage.

Equipped with the absolutely legendary Ford Powerstroke 7. 3L V8 Turbodiesel engine!!

I'm struggling to know where to start! We have had the camper for nearly two years and have had a good many trips in the UK and Europe. We have used the vehicle frequently; it certainly hasn't sat idle for long periods like most campers. We also used it during the winter but when parked up I always put an oil radiator on low to keep it toasty inside.

She’s always been bone dry and completely free from damp.

She has super hot blown central heating (LPG). air conditioning in the cab and in the accommodation. a full size fridge freezer. microwave. cooker. grill. flatscreen TV. and VHS/DVD player with surround sound.

Main bedroom: She has a HUGE. proper fixed King size island bed with brand new. very expensive Sleepeezee mattress mounted in rear bedroom with a spacious storage area underneath. wall mounted hanging wardrobes with loads of overhead storage.

Front of vehicle: Massive overcab double bed. and the table area converts to another (snug) double.

This motor home would sleep 6-8 comfortably with its main bedroom. large overcab bed. dining area double and also the rock & roll sofa a making yet another double.

She has full hot and cold running water and filtered drinking water.

Proper full size shower enclosure one side of the main aisle and flush toilet in separate bathroom on the other side with wash basin. mirror and more storage cabinets.

Loads and loads of storage. cupboards. racks. hidden compartments and so on!!

Equipped throughout with expensive day/night blinds with privacy screens too.

She has large onboard fresh water tanks as well as ‘grey’ waste and sewerage tanks with Coachmen’s superb emptying system. All hoses are obviously included for you to use the system safely and easily.

All electric hook up cables. UK and EU type are included as are the special adaptors for the LPG filler which means you can refill in whichever country. hassle-free. She has loads of storage lockers and on the roof there are two large waterproof boxes. We use these for extra chairs. tables. BBQ etc.

At the rear is a full receiver tow hitch and electrics and a reversing camera with audio - so you can hear directions from someone behind you. pedestrians. birds. dogs etc!

Large. proper Velvac adjustable truck mirrors provide a blur-free rear view at all times.

There are two awnings (one to either side) and an unused safari room with groundsheet.

There are seatbelts for eight people. Exterior retractable electric step. outdoor shower and power outlets (UK).

A just serviced powerful Onan LPG Generator sits in a side locker. as does the 100 litre LPG tank that seems to last FOREVER!!

It would be easy to have this as a fully ‘live in’ vehicle. should the need arise. People always ask about the engine and how many miles do you get to the gallon.

The Powerstroke turbodiesel engine is LEGENDARY in its reliability and longevity. with most models covering well over half a million miles of very hard commercial use. Our van has only travelled 41. 00 miles which makes it probably the lowest mileage Powerstroke in the World!

She’s fantastic as you can imagine. pulls like a train. and is barely ticking over at 55-60mph. As the vehicle weighs five tonnes its fuel consumption isn't in Prius territory. but somewhere around 18mpg. (still WAY better than a petrol equivalent) and probably better than towing a big caravan with your average car!

All the above. coupled with superb Air Ride suspension and proper automatic transmission with cruise control.

She is 100% very reliable and I have never had a single issue issue. As for the driving experience. with power steering and an automatic gearbox it is a doddle.

We went to Switzerland for a bike show and after the event drove nonstop back to the UK - she’s just so easy to do big miles. I will have forgotten to add many things but if you are interested please come and view. It can be test driven on a private road but before you do please make sure you have the correct licence for this size of motor home. There are many extras and it is a super clean. 100% reliable camper with loads of space - why on Earth would you buy a pokey european camper?? It has a super service record and comes with a full history and documentation pack from new. including all the original handbooks which are MASSIVE!  It has been serviced /maintained by Gold RV in Alton for much of its life - those people know their stuff!

New batteries last year and just had her annual service using Shell Helix means that you have no service or ancillary costs coming up.

I know it is a 15 year old camper and has the odd campsite bite but absolutely no rust to the cab etc.  

This has been a pet and child-free motorhome all its life.

For value for money and great space with perfectly acceptable running costs. you’ll be hard-pressed to find something as good. That being said. it is 15 years old. so please don’t expect to find a brand new vehicle. Only for sale as we have had an unexpected change in circumstances and a relocation to another part of the country. this means we won’t get much of a chance to use the motor home for the next couple of years. so we’d (rather reluctantly) let her go than put her into storage.

I would be happy to deliver anywhere for an small sum to cover my time.

Folding bicycles in overcab bed area are not included. nor is the Easylifter hydraulic motorcycle carrier on the rear. however. these are all available under separate negotiation.

Please. no part exchanges.  

The bike is currently on a private plate which will be removed upon sale at no cost to the purchaser.

 You are welcome to ride it away on the private reg. and do so legally. on the understanding that it is not yours. obviously!!

You will get a month's free tax on the motorhome due to the process. which is an added bonus for you!

 This is MY vehicle. registered to ME. at MY address - no funny stories or third-party monkey business from me!!
