HONDA MR250 ELSINORE. CLASSIC TWIN SHOCK MX ENDURO 1976

This is a Honda MR250 Elsinore. Made for one year only (1976) it is the enduro version of the CR250. The bike has been rebuilt but kept looking 'original and un-restored' The engine has had all new bearings throughout (including all gearbox bearing). crank rebuild. bore was good so it had a hone and new rings. It had the front rim replaced with a good used item to keep the look. new tyres. tubes. all wheel bearings. swing arm bearings. steering head bearings. all brake shoes. fork seals and a new carb!It still needs running in as I've only done 10 miles on it since it was finished two years ago. I just don't get the time or opportunity to ride it. It starts and runs well. It was a labour of love saving it from the scrap heap and cost me an arm and a leg to do. so I just don't want it sitting here unused for years. I have the original lighting equipment for it but it wasn't MOT legal so I stripped it off and got a daytime MOT on it. It is currently MOT'd and taxed. So grab yourself a bit of Honda history.
