I bought this as a project earlier in the year as I have always fancied an RVF. I have spent a lot of money on her over the past few months getting her into tip-top mechanical condition. Unfortunately I am a student and money is tight. While working over the summer I had enough spare cash to spend on her but now I have returned to uni I cannot currently justify keeping a bike that I use purely for pleasure. I have done less than 500 miles on her this year so she is reluctantly up for sale - hopefully someone who will get more use out of her. She's a great bike. Will throw new MOT on for buyer. 50k miles. Bit of paperwork with her. The usual story for an RVF. These go for silly money on eBay. but am open to reasonable offers. She has nearly a grand's worth of tasteful trick bits. The Sensei exhaust system sounds awesome (best RVF I have ever heard!). Brand new Nitron shock (done less than 500 miles). gave her a full service including oil. brakes. valves and other bits and pieces and stuck a new battery on her with upgraded Mosfet reg/rect from Rick Oliver that eliminates the changing faults usually found on these. She is not mint cosmetically. I have had bikes stolen in the past and so was not bothered about making her look 'attractive' to thieves. I prefer to have bikes that are the business underneath the cowling rather than something shiny that attracts the wrong sort of attention. That said. she is not a bad looking bike and I did powder coat the rims as the original white niggled me (white wheels do not belong on an RVF!) There are the usual marks and the top cowl has cracked round the mirrors on both sides. Those are really the only bad bits. However. I have got her in tip top shape mechanically. She is ready for the road or to scream round the track. She really sings - the exhaust system transforms her from a timid meow into a big cat growl. Extras but may add more if I remember them.
