1973 HONDA CB500 Four Cafe Racer with Sidecar

A lot of sweat and $$ went into this beautiful bike. New powder coated wheels from Dime City Cycles. CR Performance Carbs. dyna electronic ignition. gauges. grips. master cylinder. brake hoses. battery. mirrors. seat and many more. Side-car has new carpet and a spare battery mounted behind the seat that powers the side-car headlight. Thanks to a couple of eBay viewers the sidecar although was manufactured in Texas. is likely an American Eagle/Scout sidecar. The sidecar was a barn find in Bristol. TN and I bought and hauled it back to Texas. Perfect match for this bike. Mileage: I bought the bike from a guy in Michigan who was the original owner. The bike's original gauges showed 25. xx miles however he said the engine was rebuilt since. I do not know how long ago. It does smoke slightly when first started. Keeping in mind this thing has performance carbs! It runs and idle's like a dream. Does not leak any oil. These racing carbs are a bear to adjust. I am not going to lie and I have recently spent a good deal having them tuned. It does have new gauges so does not reflect true mileage. Runs great. This bike is a real eye catcher. I can't ride it anywhere that it doesn't draw a crowd. With a few minor details. this bike would win in cafe bike shows easily. Serious bidders only! Anyone local to Dallas.
