For sale is my first ever motorcycle. bought in October 2011 off ebay and it has been brilliant. I am only selling as I have bought a 2014 CBR650f for commuting and the two are too similar to own side by side.

Be under no illusions. this is not an immaculate motorcycle (hence the price!) but please do read on

I have added approximately 25. 00 miles in the time I have owned it. it has been used mainly for commuting and has been garaged both at home and work in that time. Total mileage now stands at just over 68000 and may increase a little. it is taxed until the end of March so I have the option of using it if I fancy. I bought the bike with no service history (this doesn't mean it had none. it just wasn't documented so you have to assume it had none). but this bike has been brilliant. In the winter of 2012 / 2013 I took it off the road for a freshen up which included the following:

This work was done through my own choice. not because the bike needed it. It started with a broken exhaust bracket and snow-balled from there. I have some but not all receipts but the bike speaks for itself!

Outside of this overhaul have had the following (documented) work done:

As you can see. I have spent a lot of time and money making this bike as good as it can be. All servicing and repairs carried out by Benfleet Motorcycles. In addition to all the above. it has been fitted with some Michelin Pilot Road 4s in November last year at a cost of ?265. those tyres have done only 1000 miles. I also had some new front pads put in at around the same time however I have no paper work for this.

I have the original owners manual. service book and document wallet as well as a number of old MOT certificates to verify the mileage. I also have the original pillion grab handles but no fixing bolts. I also have the original mirrors.

I would hope given the price. age and mileage of the bike that you would not be thinking the bike would be immaculate. It is very good for its year but there are a couple of bits that could be sorted. The right hand fairing has some damage which you can see in the pictures. the bike came with this but there was / is no other evidence that this was caused by a drop. The tank also has a scratch. also pictured. Otherwise I think the pictures speak a thousand words. this bike has so much more to give and if it makes someone else as happy as it did me then that would be great
