Description

Uber cool Honda C50 Cub Genuine low mileage project C50 'Barn Find' It wasn't actually found in a barn . but it strikes me you have to write that to get noticed these days and to be fair . it almost was. Depends on what you expect BF to mean these days . in this case. Its rare. requires work. is old and cool. That said this bike is a bit of a find! I'm having to move house so the end game of starting this project is very annoyingly out of the window . you go find a 1960's cub with 1440 miles!! This has to be quite unique with such a low odometer reading. I haven't had it running . it will. its a Cub ! I get that its in need of a bit of love but the potential is huge and the low mileage is kudos. The round headlight and 1960's age is proper cool. Tax free too (Saving what ?15 a year lol) I do know what I have here so yes . you're looking at placing a half decent offer please but try me. I would like the space. And I understand that you will need to do some work on it. Questions please email . serious to buy then call or text me 07715128248 Located in Worcester In answer to the low mileage - it belonged to a friends family member (who never used the thing before getting to old to bother) and he's stored it in his lock up for years . along with a Vision 50 (yuk) and some old triumph cars. Not sure how long it was there but the last Mot (and only one we found) was in 1983 and its had got to the heady heights of 977 !! So between 67 and 83 it managed 61 miles per year! So it did another 500 miles before been forgotten about. Really time has got to the bodywork but it's perfectly salvageable. some corrosion on the rear arch and sun bleached a treat. Its got some cracking original emblems on it. The log book is still the old style so when your ready to put it on the road you'll have to submit the old one. Only 2 previous keepers. The little manual for how look after it is ace . printed 1973. I bet you'll not find one of those.
