Honda cbx250rs with spares rare bike GB250 spares or repair LOOK ! no reserve

Bought from my father. this is the bike the cb250rs should have been. much better engineered. Very high spec engine for a 250 single. DOHC. RFVC. twin carb. 30 odd BHP. apparently faster than the modern equivalent. These are a great looking [pictures don't do it justice]. fun little bike that will be THE one to collect once people realize how much better they are than their predecessor. they're a bit too rare for a lot of people to be in the know right now. This one is being sold as for spares or repair as it was smoking a bit when revved- needs a top end refresh i guess. it was mechanically quiet. The good news is it comes with a full workshop manual and a good cylinder head with valves. rockers. sub rockers. camshafts. a new gasket etc. Everything you need to sort it with zero cost and minimum hassle. all you need is a workspace and it could be ready for springtime. It may only need the gasket for all I know. I'm sure you'll have a few bits to sell on. If I still had a workshop  I would love to hang on to this. I know I'll regret getting rid of it. I also have for sale separately a LOT of other spares- way too much to list . please get in touch if you're looking for something. Mechanically the same as a GB250. The bleed nipple has sheared off the brake caliper so this will need drilling and tapping. Front brake needs bleeding. It has a good battery that has been on a trickle charger since the  bike was last run in the  autumn. Tires. chain. sprockets are good. The carbs are feeling a bit sticky so they will need a clean out. It is currently a non runner . The tank has been properly repaired which shows along the bottom left seem but it doesn't leek at all. The exhaust is pretty knackered with numerous small holes and a missing silencer bracket. I was going to look into  trying to find one of the nice 2 into 1 systems you see in Japan. The picture of the head and parts which are included in this sale is not too �good. It doesn't show the other rockers and arms or the sub rockers and their mountings. the second camshaft which are all in excellent condition or the new genuine Honda head gasket. I am happy to send more photos on request. As i say there are many other parts not included in this sale. �
