Honda NT650 Deauville - Honda Deauville 650 - 2003 - 12 Months MOT - Red

I am selling my Honda NT650 Deauville motorbike as I am upgrading to a newer model.

It has just passed its MOT yesterday. so its got a 12 month MOT. its now done 47. 96 miles. and still runs & rides great. I use it daily for work so expect a 100 or so miles extra to the mileage.

Its 12 years old so please dont expect a showroom finish bike. I have all the previous MOT's. some history & stamps in owners manual. I have done a few trips to Europe on it without problem.

It has a genuine Honda rear top box. heated grips that are worth their weight in gold during winter. it will make an ideal commuter bike. its very reliable. cheap to insure and still looks good.

I normally do the oil & filters myself in May of each year. its cheap & easy to do. it starts on the button. I fitted a new battery 18 months ago. its had new fork seals 2 years ago.

 I gave it a wash and a polish yesterday. it looks good but could do with a bit more of the same & some black hammerite paint on the stand wouldnt go a miss!. I may do it if the weather is ok.

There are some of my boot scuff marks on the rear offside pannier lid. part of the front off side fairing has been painted by a friend recently as it had been damaged. it looks fine but isnt perfect.

It does ride great & it definately has no mechanical problems that I am aware of. the tyres are good and all the brake pads were changed last summer with an overhaul of the front brake calipers and has a cigarette lighter socket in one of the side glove boxes. its ideal to run a tom tom or charge your mobile phone.

I have owned this bike for nearly six years now. its been a great bike and I dont foresee any future obvious problems. I am sure with a little more TLC it would look even better.

I used it daily in all weathers. it gets a clean & polish now & then. I will make sure its clean for the buyer. some of the pictures make it look a little cleaner/brighter than it is. but I am sure that the winning bidder will be more than happy and can ride it away with confidence.

Please be re-assured its a truly great bike and mechanically sound. is got a tried & tested great Honda engine. I have described my bike as honest & best as I can.  

You are welcome to come and have a look at my bike. have any inspection done on it. nbsp;test ride it. subject to a deposit & proof of insurance or I would give you a piggy back ride so you can hear the engine & gearbox. test the brakes & clutch ect. but there are no issues at all.

Cash on collection or a bank transfer is fine. I will give you a full receipt. I am in Chadderton. Oldham.

My bike is also taxed until 31st October. however I understand that new DVLA rules do not allow the road tax to be transferred with the sale? Its automatically refunded to the former keeper. if this is correct then the winning bidder will have to pay for his own road tax top of the purchase price at their leisure (approx ?70 a year) if not then you have a bonus.
